SOMEONE YOU KNOW WILL BE UNFAITHFUL

We are not talking about romantic love, but about something much deeper: being unfaithful to our values. It is the moment when we set aside what we try to uphold throughout the year to justify contradictions and choose impulse over commitment. All for the temptation of a deal. A silent but meaningful betrayal: the one that goes against oneself.

Black Friday has become one of the greatest symbols of impulsive consumption and the imbalance that defines our current economic model. And it is no secret—we know its consequences: environmental impact, job insecurity, excessive consumption… And yet, every year we fall into temptation again.

According to the Golden Quarter Barometer, it is expected that this year we will spend €379 in Spain during Black Friday alone, 12% more than last year. And behind that €379 there is more than consumption: there are emissions soaring due to express logistics, waste that spikes in 48 hours, and thousands of workers sustaining the invisible face of the discount.

Perhaps the question is not how much we are going to save, but how much we are willing to give up of what we believe in. Because deals pass… but the consequences do not.

From ROSAPARKS, Brands with a Purpose, we issue a call to action: If you buy, trust your head, not your instincts.
