Her project, dedicated to mentoring and supporting mental health in the international journalism sector, has been recognised by the jury of this initiative, which aims to foster the talent of women social entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n

The 8M Social Entrepreneur Scholarship awards the winning project one year of coworking access, a \u20ac1,000 grant, Marketing and Communication consultancy, as well as business management training to support its development and growth.<\/p>\n\n

This initiative by TRIPLE, Spain\u2019s first eco-friendly coworking space, and the Ashoka Spain Foundation, has been sponsored this year by the advertising agency ROSAPARKS and the responsible tourism agency We Go Wild Travel, and aims to promote women\u2019s social entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n

The winning project was announced this morning at an event held at the TRIPLE building at 56 Ferraz Street, Madrid, attended by women entrepreneurs and scholarship applicants, as well as representatives of organisations and associations of women who are leaders in social entrepreneurship. <\/p>\n\n

During the awards ceremony, Mar Cabra<\/strong>, an acclaimed journalist and winner of this edition, presented her project The Self Investigation<\/strong>.The other two finalist projects that received mentions were also announced: <\/strong><\/strong>Laura Donis<\/strong> with her project Empower<\/strong>, which offers comprehensive cultural accessibility solutions for everyone, especially neurodivergent people, in museums, art centres and other institutions.<\/p>\n\n

Lorena Heras and Roser Giralt<\/strong> with their project Planeta Dots<\/strong>, a project focused on recovering textile fabrics in its fashion collections and offering travelling training experiences with its caravans to raise awareness of responsible consumption.<\/p>\n\n

Attendees also heard the testimony of Juliane Meirelles and Concha Maza, winners of the 2nd edition of the 8M Scholarship in 2023 with their project ONSOCIAL 2.<\/p>\n\n

The 8M Social Entrepreneur Scholarship was launched last March in its 3rd edition and its jury included Alba Guzm\u00e1n, Founder and CEO of ROSAPARKS; Irene Milleiro, Managing Director of Ashoka Spain; and Raquel Traba, CEO and Founder of TRIPLE.<\/p>\n\n

More than 25 projects applied for this 8M Social Entrepreneur Scholarship, demonstrating the strong social commitment of women entrepreneurs. Many women, despite existing barriers, continue to have the courage and energy to drive forward projects that connect business innovation with solving social challenges.<\/p>\n\n
